<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer printer having a mechanism for transferring an image forming layer to an ID card, ID printer of a final material to be transferred without generating a burr even without material preventive measures of thinning a thickness of the layer coating a transfer base material or mixing a filler. SOLUTION: In the transfer printer comprising an image forming layer 11 provided at a transfer base material 13, thereby transferring the layer 11 to a material 70 to be transferred by a heat roller 60, a burr occurrence preventing mechanism 50 is provided on a stage 80 for placing the material 70 to remove excess heat of the roller 60. In this case, a color image to be printed and formed as an aggregate of dots by driving a thermal head 30 according to a drive controller, and transferring a coloring material made of a dye or a pigment from a color ribbon 20 as dots to the layer 11 coating the material 13 of a transfer medium 10.</p> |
