PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a complicated shape in a short time without depending on the kind of a ceramic material by sintering a ceramic compacted body while adding stress to at least a part of the ceramic compacted body to deform. SOLUTION: When alumina and silicon nitride are used as a ceramic material and pressure is used as stress, first, the source material powder is compacted to form a compacted body. Preferably, the source powder has about 1 to 2μm particle size. The source powder is compacted by die forming or cold isostatic pressing method into a ceramic compacted body. Then, while pressure preferably at 1 to 100 kg/cm<2> is added downward to a part or whole of the compacted body, the body is sintered at 1400 to 1600 deg.C for 1 to 100 hours for alumina in air and at 1700 to 1900 deg.C for 1 to 100 hours for silicon nitride in a nonoxidizing atmosphere such as nitrogen.
