PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of more correctly detecting residual toner. SOLUTION: In the case that 'toner absent' is displayed on a display part 17, and a recording part cover is open/closed, and in the case that a developing device unit 60 is mounted on a facsimile device 1, an agitating body 64 is rotated, until the elapse of the specific time (for instance, 20 seconds). Thus, when the developing device unit 60 is replaced by a fresh developing device unit 60, the toner is surely agitated by an agitating body 64 in the toner case 61 of the developing device unit 60 and become uniform. Therefor, even if the developing device unit 60 being stored in a vertical state is fitted to a facsimile device 1, it does not take place that 'toner absent' is displayed on the displaying part 17. Accordingly, the residual toner can be more correctly detected. |
