PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly cope with variation of structured data to be processed. SOLUTION: A structured data holding means 2 holds pieces of structured data which are related to one another. The structured data can represent a tree structure having as nodes data which are process units. Then process contents corresponding to the nodes constituting the tree structure are related in the form of process descriptions. A structured data processing means 3 when receiving a message from an input/output means 1 specifies an object node by analyzing the tree structure of the structured data 3a specified with the message and executes the process description related to the node. If there is a message specifying a node in another structured data 3b in the execution of the process description, the corresponding structured data 3b is obtained from the structured data holding means 2 and the process based upon the message is executed.
