PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flap type gate door which is capable of stopping the opening/closing operation of the door without resulting in serious dangers even when a person such as an operator is held between the door and the ground, excellent in safety and fail-safe. SOLUTION: A flap type gate door 1 is provided with a column 2, an arm means 6 which is arranged turnable in the perpendicular plane around one end relative to the column 2, a door 10 mounted on the other end of the arm means 6, and an arm turning means 13 to turn the arm means 6. The arm turning means 13 is provided with an electric motor 68, and a transmitting means to transmit the rotation of an output rotary shaft of the electric motor 68 to the arm turning means 13, and the turning relative to the arm means 13 is stopped by its overload. |
