PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture efficiently an artificial marble with stripe patterns formed continuously even in the thickness direction of the artificial marble by providing a moving molding cell, a liquid resin feed means and a comb- shaped tool. SOLUTION: A comb-shaped tool 3 with its ends of teeth brought into contact with the bottom face of a molding cell is provided on the downstream of a liquid resin feed means 2. When liquid resin laminated in the molding cell is passed through a setting site of the comb-shaped tool, the comb shaped tool is moved relatively in the liquid resin in a manner of combing laminated liquid resin. Recesses are generated by pushing the liquid resin aside are formed on the trace of passage of teeth of the comb-shaped tool, and liquid resin of different color of an upper layer is flowed therein. Thus the liquid resin of different color is infiltrated into the bottom face of the molding cell on the trace of passage of teeth of the comb shaped tool, and in the case the bottom face is formed as a significant face, stripe patterns are formed on the trance of passage of the comb-shaped tool. |
