PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate cleaning of a printer and confirming of the result of adequate cleaning after inspecting of printing by a method wherein a process for cleaning an inner section of an ink head by using a cleaning liquid and a process for printing on a printing paper by ejecting the cleaning liquid from the ink head are set. SOLUTION: When a printing performance of a product body sent from a product body assembling process 1 is inspected in a printing inspecting process 2, an ink cartridge is loaded to the product body beforehand and printing of a predetermined pattern is executed. The product of which accurate printing is confirmed is sent to a cleaning process 3 for cleaning an ink head in the printer, then a cleaning cartridge is attached to an attachment portion of the ink cartridge in a cleaning cartridge attaching process 3A. Next, a cleaning liquid is injected thereinto through an ink inlet in a suction cleaning process 3B so that the contaminated ink head is cleaned by the cleaning liquid. In a water printing process 3C, an ejection element is driven as in a normal printing mode to eject the cleaning liquid by a specific printing pattern.
