<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of a carrier due to a toner component and to exhibit the stable charging property over a long time with little deterioration in the electrification performance by incorporating a copolymer containing ethylene-type unsatd. nitrile, silicone-modified acryl resin and amino group-contg. resin into a binder resin. SOLUTION: This binder carrier consists of magnetic powder and a binder. The binder resin contains a copolymer containing ethylene-type unsatd. nitrile, silicone-modified acryl resin and amino group-contg. resin. The amts. of ethylene- type unsatd. nitrile copolymer, silicone-modified acryl resin and amino group- contg. resin to the binder resin are 5 to 95 wt.%, 3 to 90 wt.% and 2 to 70 wt.%, respectively. Thereby, deterioration of the carrier by the toner component is prevented and stable charging property is exhibited over a long time with little deterioration in the electrification performance. Even when the toner is rapidly replenished, an image of high image quality can be stably obtd.</p> |
