<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make VTR recording reservation from a remote location without changing the circuit of a conventional telephone device. SOLUTION: A recording reservation setting identification code and then a G code are key-inputted to a telephone device 1 having an automatic incoming call response function from a telephone set, and a DTMF signal is sent through a telephone line Ln to the telephone device 1 according to the key inputting. Then, the DTMF signal is decoded by the DTMF receiver 12 of the telephone device 1 and then a G code is sent out as a DTMF sound equivalent to the G code from a speaker 14. In a VTR 30 side, this DTMF sound is detected by a microphone 41, and a designated channel, a broadcast start time and a broadcast end time are obtained by decoding the detected signal thereof in a G code. Then, by a record operation controller 46, a record operation is controlled so as to start recording of a target broadcast program at the broadcast start time and stop recording at the broadcast end time.</p> |
