Composition comprising plant extracts from at least two of Bryonia, Ipecacuanha or Drosera, and antimony potassium tartrate, useful for treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchitis, respiratory disorders and cancer

A herbal composition (I) comprising: (a) plant extracts from 2 of Bryonia, Ipecacuanha or Drosera (75 wt.%); and (b) antimony potassium tartrate (q.s. to 100 wt.%) for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchitis and respiratory disorders, is new. An Independent claim is also given for the production of (I) comprising: (a) washing and cleaning plant material selected from Bryonia, Ipecacuanha and Drosera; (b) surface sterilizing the plant materials with sodium hypochlorite and drying; (c) cutting the dried plant materials into small pieces; (d) grinding and pulverizing the plant materials; (e) extracting the ground and pulverized plant materials in a polar solvent and removing the solvent under vacuum to give the extracted materials in powder form; and (f) mixing 75-100 wt.% of /- 2 of the extracted materials with antimony potassium tartrate (100% q.s.) to give (I).
