PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for improving its insertability and brazing properties of an end of a tube to a tube hole of a header pipe. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger 1 has a tube 2 for heat exchanging a medium and having an end connected to a pipe hole provided at a header pipe for distributing and gathering the medium and a bead 23 for partitioning a channel 21 of the medium therein and a recess formed at an outside of the tube corresponding to the bead 23. The heat exchanger 1 comprises a plate 24 covering an outside face of the tube 2 and mounting on upper and lower surfaces of the end of the tube 2 connected to the pipe hole. In this case, an outside shape of the overall plate covering the outside face of the tube 2 is brought into coincidence with a shape of the pipe hole of the header pipe so that the end of the tube mounted with the plate can be inserted into the pipe hole of the header pipe. |
