FIELD: nuclear power; solving and removing nondraining sodium equipment of sodium heat-transfer agent reactors which is to be repaired or placed out of service. SUBSTANCE: method consists in delivery of water to evacuated volume of equipment to be washed off and additional bubbling of reaction products with carbon dioxide in the course of washing-off procedure; carbon dioxide is fed under level of solution of reaction products; bubbling is effected at excess of carbon dioxide. EFFECT: high safety of washing-off process without cutting the equipment into parts; reduced corrosion attack; reduced amount of liquid radioactive wastes. 3 cl, 1 dwg
