PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain recording ink in uniform state while preventing deposition of toner in an ink storage section by forming the bottom part thereof such that the inner crosssectional area decreases continuously toward the bottom face. SOLUTION: An ink chamber 1 having an opening 24, an electrode 23 for collecting toners 53 in recording ink at the vicinity of the opening 24 through electrophoresis, and a plane electrode 21 and a recording electrode 22 facing each other to eject toner 53 toward a recording medium are arranged in a head section 2. In such an ink-jet recorder, toner must be charged constantly. An ink storage section 3 is formed such that the inner cross-sectional area decreases toward the bottom face. The cross-section means a direction parallel with the liquid face of recording ink. |
