PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the scattering of pieces of broken glass and to enhance shock absorbing power by pouring a polymerizable compsn. contg. a polycarbonate, a polythiol and a photopolymn. initiator between two glass sheets and curing the compsn. by photocopolymn. SOLUTION: The polycarbonate is represented by formula I, wherein R is an unsatd. group, R<1> is a divalent aliphatic or arom. group and (n) is 1-9. Trimethylene glycol bisallyl carbonate is preferably used as the polycarbonate. The polythiol is represented by formula II, wherein R<2> is a multivalent org. group and (m) is an integer ofι2. Pentaerythritol tetra(3-mercaptopropionate) is preferably used as the polythiol. The polycarbonate and the polythiol are blended for the polymerizable compsn. preferably in an equiv. ratio of 2:1 to 1:3. The amt. of the photopolymn. initiator is preferably 0.005-10 wt.%.
