The invention relates to a circuit configuration for converting alternating current into direct current. The circuit configuration has a resonant circuit (1) which comprises an inductor (2) and an adaptive capacitor (3). The inductor (2) of the resonant circuit is connected to a primary loop (4). The circuit configuration also has a rectifier circuit (5) which is connected to the resonant circuit (1). A parallel connection comprised of an electronic switch (10), a capacitor (8) and a consumer (9) is connected to said rectifier circuit. A rectifier (7) which prevents the capacitor (8) from discharging via the switch (10) is connected between the switch (10) and the capacitor (8). The switch (10) is closed and the resonant circuit (1) short circuits when the capacitor voltage has an upper value, and the switch (10) is opened when the capacitor voltage has a low value required for the opening thereof. These circuit configurations which are designed for high current spikes are expensive to produce due to the high costs of semiconductor components. The aim of the invention is to produce a circuit configuration with which the current spikes are avoided when the switch closes. To this end, a component (12, 14) which detects the flow of current when the resonant circuit (1) discharges is arranged in the short-circuit. Said component controls a switching element (13, 16) which limits the flow of current through the switch (10). |
