The mudguard (2) and dress protector (3) are each provided with cooperating clamp or clip fittings (4) for joining them together. Independent claims are also included for (a) the mudguard, and (b) the dress protector parts of the unit. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING - PREFERRED FEATURES : The clamp or clip fittings are formed by a male thick region (5) in the dress protector, cooperating with a female cavity in the mudguard. Alternatively they are formed by interlocking rim edges.
