PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knock type writing instrument for which an elastic material of new shape used for the appearing and disappearing operation of the knock type writing instrument is adopted and the new appearing and disappearing operation not available heretofore is provided. SOLUTION: A knock type writing instrument is provided with a writing barrel covering cylindrical member 3 for covering a writing barrel member 2 to be appeared and disappeared from a writing member main body 1, and the tips of a plurality of elastic bending pieces 4 extended from the writing barrel covering cylindrical member 3 are stored in a plurality of channels 7 formed on the inner side of the writing member main body 1 to hold the writing barrel member 2 on a given operation position, and also applying the bending restoring force of a plurality of elastic bending pieces 4 to the writing barrel main body 1 to carry out the appearing and disappearing operation for the writing barrel member 2. |
