<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out welding of an inner wall of a nuclear reactor pressure vessel and the like by a remote control operation. SOLUTION: An underwater moving carrier 1 moving without a track while adhering to a wall face H in the water, is equipped with a micro welding machine 2 welding the wall face in the water, and a positioning mechanism 3 moving the micro welding machine 2 in a three-dimension direction against the wall face. Thereby, since a processing head of the micro welding machine 2 can be positioned at a given position of the wall face H in the water, the welding operation can be safely, easily, and surely carried out by a remote control operation.</p> |
