PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for special parts such as a wind path for suppressing the generation and breeding of molds and germs inside air-conditioning equipment, to configure a method and a device inexpensively, to positively and efficiently dry the inside of the air-conditioning equipment body, to reduce a consumption energy on drying, and to prevent a foul odor from being generated and to prevent the foul odor from greatly affecting an indoor living area. SOLUTION: After a cooling or a dehumidification operation stops, a drainage operation for eliminating water remaining in air-conditioning equipment, especially an indoor exchanger is performed by a drainage operation determination means 1, and a drying operation is performed to dry the inside of the air-conditioning equipment by a drying operation determination means 2A after the drainage operation is completed. The drying operation determination means 2A consists of a drying operation time measurement means 3 for measuring drying operation time and a drying operation end detection means A4 for detecting the end of the drying operation based on the measurement value and a specific value (set time). Also, a heating operation is made by a specific amount of blown wind and a specific blowing wind direction by the drying determination means on the drying operation. |
