<p>An on-board wastewater treatment device and method for use on watercraft. A treatment tank (104) is connected to the head (101) through a macerator pump (121). The treatment tank is connected to a bioreactor (106) by a feed pump (103). During a treatment cycle, a head valve (117) prevents flow to the treatment tank, while a 3-way valve (111) is set to flow wastewater from the tank to the bioreactor and back to the tank. When the wastewater has been treated, the feed pump is turned off to allow solids in the wastewater to settle. After settling, the pump is turned back on and the 3-way valve is set to discharge the treated wastewater.</p> |
