PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepreg free from voids. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a prepreg is to displace air contained in a fiber base material 1 with a gas whose solubility into an organic solvent used for a resin varnish 6 is 10 times or more compared to a nitrogen gas at 20 deg.C, prior to a process to impregnate the fiber base material 1 with a heat-setting resin and/or a thermoplastic resin. In this method, the fiber base material 1 is made to pass through a gas displacement device 3 filled with the gas and is made to pass through the resin varnish 6 contained in a resin varnish impregnation tank 5 connected to the gas displacement device 3. |
