The invention concerns a liquid storage and dispensing bag which can be used either on its own or in bag-in-the-box applications. The bag (10) is formed by overlying plies (14, 16) of flexible material which are sealed to one another to define an internal, liquid-tight storage volume (32) for a liquid, and an operatively upper region (26) adjacent the storage volume. There is an outlet from the storage volume at an operatively lower end and a manually operable dispensing valve (34) for controlling dispensing of liquid from the storage volume (32) through the outlet. The upper region (26) of the bag is perforated by one or more hand or finger grip openings by means of which the bag can be carried manually. |
