PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the novel subject complex transferable to a tumor site and used for the expression, etc., of anti-vascularization DNA in a oncovascular system by comprising a carrier containing DNA coding for anti-vascularization protein or peptide: DNA complexes. SOLUTION: This carrier containing DNA coding for anti-vascularization peptide: DNA complexes is a carrier comprising DNA capable of coding at least one species of anti-vascularization protein or peptide: DNA complexes. The novel complex is able to be sent to a tumor area in vivo, further, comprises regulatory elements for expressing anti-vascularization DNA in a once vascular system and useful for methods to inhibit growth of tumors in tumor-carrying patients. This complex is obtained as a liposome: DNA complex by bonding thrombospondin I (TSPI) gene, which is a protein having anti-vascularization activities, to a vector, drying it with a mixture of cationic lipids in a rotary evaporator and treating with ultrasonic waves to bring to the liposome. |
