<p>PURPOSE:To distinguish the form ejecting positions from each other at every printing job without causing any burden to a host computer by adding a function to issue a job offset command to a printer. CONSTITUTION:The switching means 24 of this printer buffer device 14 selects one of input data 21 - 23 given from the host computers 15 - 18. A deciding means 25 monitors the break of the print job of the selected data. Based on this deciding result, a signal generating means 26 inhibits the reception of other inputs before an instruction is given to the means 24. Meanwhile a command generating means 27 produces the job offset commands to the selected printers 11 - 13 so that the forms are ejected to the different positions at every printing job. Thus no burden is applied to the host computer and the form ejecting positions are distinguished from each other for each job. Then the output of printers can be easily sorted.</p> |
