PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition with excellent weatherability and durability, in particular prevented from discoloration of the base materials coated therewith, and usable as an aqueous polisher. SOLUTION: This composition comprises at least one of the aqueous dispersions (1), (2) and (3) described below and a wax emulsion: (1) an aqueous dispersion of a copolymer from (a) anα,βunsaturated carboxylic acid, (b) a monomer bearing ultravioletabsorbing functional group, and (c) as desired, another copolymerizable monomer, (2) an aqueous dispersion of compound particles composed of a (meth)acrylic polymer and a polysiloxane and having an ultraviolet-absorbing component, and (3) an aqueous dispersion of compound particles composed of a (meth)acrylic polymer and a fluoropolymer and having an ultraviolet-absorbing component.
