PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a piezoelectric porcelain composition free from lead, having >=300 pC/N piezoelectric distortion constant d33 at normal temp., and also having high piezoelectric distortion constant d33 in a temp. environment of -30 to 0 deg.C, moreover, low in temp. dependence in a temp. environment of -30 to 85 deg.C. SOLUTION: At least Ba, Ti, Zr and Sn are incorporated as a metal element, and when a composition formula of these metal elements by atomic ratio is expressed by Bax (Ti1-y (Zr1-a Sna )y )O3 , a main component satisfying 0.96<=x<=1.04, 0.01<=y<=0.10, 0.05<=a<=0.75 and 0.05-2.0 pts.wt. Cu expressed in terms of CuO are incorporated per 100 pts.wt. main component. |
