MODULAR TYPE CONNECTOR PLUG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small modular type connector plug with a good workability that can be simultaneously connected to a plastic optical fiber and an insulated wiring. SOLUTION: A terminal 11 for connecting an electric wire to be pressed in is assembled on one surface of a plug main body l, and an attaching/ detaching lever 3 to/from a modular jack on other surface. The terminal 11 is in a sectional clamp shape, and a stick blade 12 is formed on its leg part. An electric wire insertion hole 6 is formed at a position corresponding to the tip of the stick blade 12 on the plug main body, and an optical fiber insertion hole 14 is formed at a position opposing to an abdominal part of the terminal 11. When an insulated electric wire is inserted in the electric wire insertion hole 6 and the terminal 11 is pressed in by inserting a plastic optical fiber in the optical fiber insertion hole 14, the stick blade 12 of the terminal 11 sticks in the insulated electric wire as well as the abdominal part of the terminal 11 depresses the plastic optical fiber to fix it.
