PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum electrolytic capacitor which can fix a capacitor element without using polymer fixing material such as polypropylene and prevent an increase in ripple temperature. SOLUTION: In an aluminum electrolytic capacitor 1 having a capacitor element 2 made by winding an anodic foil, a cathodic foil and a separator around a pipe-like core 5, a bottomed capacitor case 3 receiving the capacitor element 2, and a body 4 closing the open end of the capacitor case 3, both ends of the pipe-like core 5 are supported by the body 4 and the bottom of the capacitor case 3 and a liquid-filled heat pipe 6 is disposed in the pipe-like core 5. The end 52 of the pipe-like core 5 projects outwardly from the bottom 31 of the capacitor case 3 and is provided with radiating fins.
