The connector consists of a flexible ring (22) and a collar (24) on the end of a flexible pipe (10). The ring is molded over a deformable element, preferably a metal ring, and has radial grooves to facilitate its contraction to allow it to pass through an aperture (16) in a metal, e.g. aluminum, wall (18). After fitting, the collar is fixed with the aid of a locking sleeve (30) engaging with a grooved ring (38) round the outside of the pipe.
