<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the efficiency of capturing particle materials while keeping a low pressure loss and to prevent the clogging of a filter. SOLUTION: In a device for capturing, burning and eliminating exhaust gas particle materials by a filter, a metallic small mesh part 11 having a small linear diameter and fine meshes and an aluminum ceramic mesh part 12 made of a coarse aluminum fiber yarn having a large linear diameter and coarse meshes are alternately laminated by plural numbers, the aluminum ceramic mesh 12 is deformed and stuck to the metallic mesh by pressuring and compressing the layered product in a thickness direction, a part of the opening part of the metallic mesh is closed by the compressed and deformed aluminum mesh yarn so as to form a layered product filter. This layered product filter is installed in a passage for exhaust gas, a plurality of surface heaters or linear heaters are provided in one or more metallic mesh parts of this filter or in the layered product filter, and by intermittently carrying current and heating one or more of the surface heaters or the linear heaters, captured particle materials are burned and eliminated.</p> |
