PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection color liquid crystal display element capable of making the display sufficiently bright. SOLUTION: An inner side surface of a front substrate 11 is provided with a transparent electrode 13, and an inner surface of a rear side substrate 12 is provided with a reflecting film 14 forming colored layers of magenta, yellow, cyan 16M, 16Y, 16C for color-displaying on the surface by subtractive color mixture, and a transparent electrode 17 formed thereon, and also between the pair of the substrates 11, 12, a liquid crystal polymer composite layer 18 is provided, in which liquid crystal added with dichromatic dye and high polymers are mutually dispersed, and transmission, scattering, and absorption of light are controlled. |
