PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrosurgical operation appliance for treating the tissue in a selected operation site and a system and a method therefor. SOLUTION: A first electrode 22 comprises a porous conductive material, such as a porous metallic material. Conductive fluid is supplied via a fluid supply conduit 36 through the porous conductive metallic material of the first electrode 22 into the operation site 20. This device has a fluid recovering conduit 40. A second electrode 24 is also formable by the porous metallic material and acts as an aperture 44 for taking in for the fluid recovering conduit. An electrode assembly 16 may be arranged on a catheter shaft 14 having a front end. The first electrode 22 is arranged at the front end of the catheter shaft. |
