PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a motor from being inoperable, even if the friction layer of a vibrator wears by its sliding on a rotor, and the base material of the friction layer is exposed. SOLUTION: Constitution is so made as to friction drive relatively a vibrating member (vibrator) to be vibrated by electromechanical energy conversion and a touching member (rotor) 2 pressure welded to this vibrating member. In this case, one member (the rotor for example) out of the above mentioned vibrating member and touching member 2 is fitted with a first sliding part 2d having a friction surface width narrower than that of the other member (the vibrator for example), and a second sliding part 2c having a frictional surface moved backwards by a dimension H smaller than the thickness (t) of the friction layer 9c of the other member from the friction surface of this first sliding part 2d. |
