PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the preservable stability of a CD-RW disk and to improve the stability and yield in a production stage for the CD-RW disk. SOLUTION: This optical recording medium is constituted by laminating a first dielectric layer, recording layer, second dielectric layer, metal or alloy layer and UV curing resin in this order on a disk-shaped substrate. The film thickness of the first dielectric layer of the recording medium is 65 to 130 nm, the film thickness of the recording layer is 15 to 35 nm, the film thickness of the second dielectric layer is 15 to 45 nm, the film thickness of the metal or alloy layer is 70 to 180 nm and the film thickness of the UV curing resin layer is 7 to 15 μm. The component elements of the recording layer of the optical recording medium which executes recording and erasing by the phase transition of the material for recording are mainly Ag, In, Sb, Te, N or O and their respective constitution ratios α, β, γ, δ, ε (atom%) are 0<α<=6.3β<=1.5, 50<=γ<=65, 20<=δ<=35, 0<=ε<=5, α+β+γ+δ+ε=100. The forming regions of the respective layers of the first dielectric layer, the recording layer, the second dielectric layer and the metal or alloy layer vary. |
