PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit connector which is excellent in jointability and removability, and is not removed by a force in the engaging/removing direction of the connector. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a hood part 3 which has a connector fitting chamber 7 in the front half and a side opening 15 in the perpendicularly intersected direction to the engaging direction of the connector in a rear half, and a sub-housing 2 which has a connector fitting part 5 inserted from the hood part 3 in the perpendicularly intersected direction to the engaging direction of the connector. A rear wall of the hood part 3 is brought into contact with a rear wall of the connector fitting part 5. Guide parts 35 and 34 for the mating connector are formed to be projected, inside of the hood part 3 and the connector fitting part 5, and the guide parts 35 and 34 are continuous with each other on the straight when joined completely. This structure may be formed in such a manner that a terminal housing part is formed to be continuous with the hood part 3, and a terminal housing part of the sub-housing 2 is overlapped with the terminal housing part of the hood part 3. A guide hole having a locking part may be installed on the rear wall of the hood part 3, and a slide-fitting part may be installed in the sub-housing 2. A guide rail may be installed in one of the terminal housing parts, and a slide-fitting groove may be installed in the other of the terminal housing parts. |
