PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer which can contain a large quantity of solid ink without increasing the overall size and in which the contained ink is not susceptible to the heat of a heater. SOLUTION: An ink case 17 containing a large number of solid inks X is disposed at the lower part of the body 10 having a large space. The solid ink X delivered from a delivery port 17b made in the ink case 17 is temporarily lifted to the upper part of the body 10 by a solid ink supply means 30 comprising a carrying conveyor 31, a guide plate 32 and a carrying path 33 and then supplied to the ink supply port 24a of an ink tank 24. |
