The helicopter fuselage (1) is divided into front (1A) and rear (1R) parts, the latter extended by a tail (2). The front part comprises a central structure (5), supporting a transverse row of seats (11), and has a central longitudinal passage (6,7). The main transmission box (15) is carried by a pylon (13) passing through the central passage. The engine (17) is located in the rear of the fuselage just behind the central structure and is carried in part by the pylon.
