<p>The invention concerns an alternating colour display panel comprising cells having a written state and a blank state arranged in lines (Y1, Y2) and columns, the lines forming at least two sets (E1, E2). The method consists in applying a maintenance signal (EN) on the lines generating discharges at the written cells; addressing the sets, an addressing consisting in a semi-selective operation (IE) followed by a selective operation (II). After a semi-selective operation concerning the first set (E1), a preconditioning writing operation (IP) of the cells of one line (Y3) of the second set (E2) is carried out for ionizing the panel. The invention particularly is applicable to plasma panels.</p> |
