<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal superimposing device and a signal superimposing method by which an information signal with a desired waveform is superimposed on a power signal on an AC power line. SOLUTION: A signal with a desired and optional waveform is superimposed on a power signal while minimizing the distortion of the signal with the desired waveform by designing the signal superimposing device 20 where the capacitance of capacitors C1, C2 to minimize the waveform distortion of information due to the effect of the impedance of a transformer T is properly selected based on a power line basic model in which terms of a mutual inductance M and a self inductance 2 of the transformer T connecting to AC power lines 10a, b into account. Thus, a stepwise pulse waveform is superimposed on the power signal while minimizing its waveform distortion, then the code division multiple access CDMA is made available for the power line carrier system where the information signal is transmitted by using the power signal on the AC power line as a carrier.</p> |
