PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of simultaneously producing pyroligneous acid and a soil conditioner consisting essentially of the carbide of chaff, etc. SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing pyroligneous acid has a chaff carbonizing apparatus M having a flue chamber 50, a flue condensation tower T comprising a column 10 having an inside part forming the rising flow channel of the flue and opening an exhaust vent 13 at the upper part and a liquid storage tank V. The chaff carbonizing apparatus M and the flue condensation tower T communicate with each other through a flue pipe 56. One end of a liquid forced feed pipe 22 installing a pump P attached to the liquid storage tank V opens in the inside of the lower part of the condensation tower T and can spray liquid in the storage tank on the vicinity of the top in the tower. The bottom 11 in the flue condensation tower communicates with the liquid storage tank through a liquid recovery pipe 23. When a flue generated in the chaff carbonizing apparatus M rises in the condensation tower, the flue is brought into contact with droplets falling from the vicinity of the top of the tower to condense a smoking component. |
