摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatic execution from the washing of a working electrode to the measurement of acidity by a method wherein the potential of the working electrode for a comparison electrode is swept to perform an electrolytic washing of the working electrode and then, a control section is provided to measure acidity. SOLUTION: A working voltage control circuit 24 for applying a voltage E1 to a working electrode W and a D/A converter 22 for outputting a voltage E2 to a counter pole voltage control circuit 21 are connected to a control section 20 made up of a microcomputer or the like. A comparison electrode R is connected to an input terminal of the counter pole voltage control circuit 21 and a counter pole C to an output terminal thereof. The control section 20 cause a change in the voltage applied to the working electrode W so that the potential of the working electrode W for the comparison electrode R is swept in a specified range to perform an electrolytic washing of the working electrode W. Then, the acidity is measured. This enables automation from the washing of the working electrode W to the measurement of acidity to eliminate the need for the work of grinding and replacing the working electrode W, thereby getting rid of scattering in measured values associated with changes in the surface condition of the working electrode W.
