PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording compsn. having high printing sensitivity and excellent in character erasing properties and the stability of an image with the elapse of time and a reversible thermal recording sheet and card using the same. SOLUTION: A reversible thermal recording sheet or card consists of a support base material, a reversible thermal recording layer and a protective layer and the reversible thermal recording layer is composed of a compsn. prepared by adding a reversible color forming dye, a color forming/erasing agent, an inorg. filler and an amine compd. to an org. polymeric binder and, further, the color forming/erasing agent is obtained by mixing a compd. represented by formula (I) HOC6 H4 (CH2 )n CONHR [wherein m is an integer of 1-3; and R is a straight chain alkyl group represented by Cn H2n+1 (n=3-22)] and a compd. represented by formula (II) CH3 C(HOC6 H4 )(CH2 )n CONHR [wherein m is an integer of 1-3; and R is a straight chain alkyl group represented by Cn H2n+1 (n=3-22)]. |
