PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity for a user to go to a place where a printer apparatus is installed and to confirm whether printing is finished and to inform an accurate predicted time for print finishing. SOLUTION: A printing time operation part 7 predicts a time for print finishing of print data. A printing time output part 8 informs the predicted time for print finishing to a host apparatus. When print processing is temporarily interrupted after printing is started, the printing time operation part 7 predicts again a time for printing unfinished print data and the printing time output part 8 informs the predicted time for print finishing to the host apparatus so as to control accurately the predicted time for print finishing. |
