Non-catalytic nitrogen oxide(s) emission reduction in combustion waste gas

In NOx emission reduction in combustion waste gases by decomposition at 450-800 deg C in an oxidizing atmosphere with an air coefficient ( lambda ) of greater than 1, the waste gases are passed through a dwell chamber for increasing the dwell time. An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus for carrying out the above process, in which gas flow guides are provided in the dip tube of a cyclone to increase the gas velocity.
