摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption in the configuration of the device in a way that an image sensed by an active matrix type image sensor is displayed on a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: In the case the device has an active matrix image sensor employing a MOS image pickup element, one pixel 101 is divided into two. One unit pixel group RGB outputs a forward signal and the other unit pixel group outputs an inverted signal. Thus, in the case of driving directly the liquid crystal display device by an output from the image sensor, the inversion is simply realized. Since the symmetry between the forward signal and the inverting signal is especially improved, this device is advantageous in the case of processing a moving image. Thus, the simple configuration and operation is realized to materialize low power consumption.</p>
