It has ability for spacer jaws to be plugged onto each tensioning face in detachable fashion forming intermediate tensioning face. The multiple tensioning device has a base plate 91) on which are fixed at least one locating jaw (2) with a first tensioning face (22) and at least two tensioning jaws (3), each with a locating face directed towards the tensioning face of the locating jaw and a second tensioning face (35) opposite it. The distance between neighbouring locating faces can be adjusted accurately as a result of which the first tensioning face defines a coordinate zero point and each subsequent tensioning face defines an auxiliary zero point for the NC machine. On each tensioning face can be plugged at least one spacer jaw (4) in detachable fashion to form an intermediate tensioning face (41) with an accurately reduced distance to the locating face (34). A base surface (42) of the distance jaw in the assembled state rests on the base plate subject to spring pressure and a back face of the distance jaw aligned vertically to the base surface lies against the tensioning face.
