PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect the existence of the infection of a computer virus in flexible disks in a short time and also to permit the sorting of them to the normal or abnormality by continuously and automatically processing the many flexible disks at one time operation. SOLUTION: This device for automatically detecting a computer virus is provided with a disk drive device 13, a controller 12 consisting of a central processing unit 16, a 1st storage device 17 housing plural vaccine programs and a 2nd storage device 18 for executing by loading them, a loader 14 for taking out a flexible disk from a hopper 3 and loading it to the disk drive device and an unloader for ejecting the inspected flexible disk. By the controller, the information of the flexible disk is temporarily read into the 1st storage device 17, after the vaccine program is carried out by accessing thereto, the unloader is controlled to eject the flexible disk to a different position in accordance with the inspection result, also by controlling the loader, the next flexible disk is loaded from the hopper and then the inspecting work is repeated. |
