PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain stable, high image quality over a long period of time, to decrease the disposal of toner, to extend the life of an electrifier and the life of a developing device, and to improve energy efficiency by transferring a toner image, formed on a latent-image carrier, to a given recording medium and fixing it on the surface of the recording medium. SOLUTION: The image forming device 100 is provided with the electrifier 2 which has an electrifying electrode 2a being in contact with the surface of an OPC photoreceptor 1 and electrifies the surface of the OPC photoreceptor 1 by the application of a given electrification-voltage to the electrifying electrode 2a. Fine grains in the form of powder having small grain-diameter, are almost uniformly applied to the surface of the electrifying electrode 2a of the electrifier 2 and the surface of the OPC photoreceptor 1 in advance by toner. By controlling an electric field at particular intervals so that the very small amount of sticking toner returns onto the OPC photoreceptor 1, the very small amount of sticking toner on the surface of the electrifying electrode 2a is transferred to the surface of the OPC photoreceptor 1 almost completely in co-operation with the acting force of the toner, and re-electrified by electrification in the subsequent image formation. |
