摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera calibration device capable of preventing complication of the process for making feature points correspond even if the feature points increases, by eliminating the need for distinguishing a plurality of feature points for correspondence. SOLUTION: A size/position detecting part for a sphere obtains the size and position of the image of a sphere on a screen obtained by imaging the sphere with an object imaging part. A center position assuming part obtains 3-dimention position of the center of sphere in a camera coordinate system (b) based on the information about the size and position of the sphere. A zenith detecting part 5 obtains a zenith position of sphere on the screen imaged by the sphere merging part. A zenith position assuming part 6 obtains 3-dimention position of a zenith in the camera coordinate system based on such information as the zenith position of sphere on the screen and the 3-dimention position of the center obtained by the center position assuming part. A parameter calculation part obtains parameter for position and orientation of a camera based on 3-dimentional position information of each of center and zenith.
