It comprises three longitudinal elements (2) situated perpendicularly to the base of the infusion equipment in such a way that they are set at the same distance from each other and delimit the inlet of the cylindrical cavity (3) in order to enclose another spherical element (1). The position within the vertical passage travelled by said spherical element (1) is related to the amount of fluid existing in the tank or container of the infusion equipment. Inside said cavity (3) there is provided a rubber element (4) with a central orifice in order to provide for a fluid-tight closure due to the perfect coupling with the spherical element (1). The object of the present invention is to completely seal the conduit after the solution has been administered in order to ensure a higher security both for the patient and professional staff. |
